510 to 901, 901 to 801, 510 to 510, Its not some strange mathematical language its the simple collection of adapters any long time vaper has on hand. If you don't you are missing out.
Adapters an the most basic level allow you to use one type of atomizer on a device not normally threaded for such a device, they are cheap and small. The potential uses for an adapter however become apparent the longer you vape. Yes of course it will allow you to a 901 atomizer on an ego...if you so desire, and it is certainly cheaper to get an adapter than an entirely new device, however beyond that adapters still have a use.
It has been my experience that even the best units out there are not always compatible with every cartomizer or atomizer. The solution for this is as easy as a 3 dollar adapter. A 510 to 510 adapter will allow you to use certain tanks, like the famous MAP tank, on a device that, even though correctly threaded for it, due to physical limits will not allow such a tank to screw on or to drastically change the performance on certain devices. The Sparkplug is a cheap mod, with a good reputation, but its 801 threading may turn you off...I say you are only a 4 dollar purchase away from turning that mod into an low resistance 510 vaping machine.
So go out, get you a handful of adapters...you can probably get 5 for less than a bottle of ejuice....try out that atomizer you have been looking at for some time. Rock a lr306 on your Leo or a Cisco 901 on your Ego...it could do as much to your vaping experience as buying an entirely knew unit...and for much less.
