Turning that old 510 into a short lived vaping machine
If you are like many vapers, you have a unit that is just not getting used that much. Maybe an old automatic or three piece design that has been collecting dust since you got your Ego or Mod. There is no reason to totally abandon them however with the right use of atomizers and cartomizers you may be able to get some new life out of your old still functioning ecig.
In my above review of the Boge LR cartomizer I used a mini 510, this was part in jest as I was simply showing the smaller unit putting out tons of vapor, however it got me thinking...the smaller unit WAS putting out tons of vapor and I have a few of them sitting around collecting dust so why not use them? It is certainly cheaper to try and use your stuff you already own rather than going out and buying something new.
By putting a 2.0 ohm boge cartomizer on a 510 I am getting the exact same total wattage as a Bloog Maxx Fusion and very good performance in a smaller lighter unit. It will have shorter battery life than the kr808 styled maxx fusion but honestly when your dealing with units this small your not expecting long battery life anyway.
So try out the lr 306 on your old manual 510 or the ikenvapes LR cartomizer on your automatic...you may discover you have a damn good super mini already in your collection.
